Keali'i BrightJana Ganion serves as Senior Advisor for Offshore Wind. Jana works on climate crisis solutions and green industrial and infrastructure policy and development, with a focus on offshore floating wind energy sectors, and clean energy and infrastructure resilience and transitions. Prior to this role, Jana served as Director of Government Affairs and Sustainability at the Blue Lake Rancheria, a federally recognized Native American Tribal government. She is a member of the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management California Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Task Force, past co-chair of the national U.S. Department of Energy, Indian Country Energy and Infrastructure Working Group (ICEIWG), past vice chair of the California Senate Bill 350 Disadvantaged Communities Advisory Group (DACAG), has served on the Redwood Coast Energy Authority Board of Directors, Pacific Gas and Electric Company Sustainability Advisory Council, and the California Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Program (ICARP) Technical Advisory Council. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Western Washington University. Jana grew up in Seattle and Minnesota, and loves to read, travel with her husband and son, listen to the Hidden Brain podcast, and learn about new science, ideas, and solutions.
