The solicitation for grant proposals closed in November 2023, but proposal evaluation was put on hold pending resolution of state budget concerns. The Budget Act of 2024 (Chapters 22 and 35, Statutes of 2024) was enacted on June 29, 2024, and it reverted the funding appropriated for the Urban Greening Grant Program. As a result, this round of the Urban Greening Grant Program will not be moving forward.
