Museum Grant Program

The California Natural Resources Agency is pleased to release for public comment its draft guidelines for the California Museum grant program.

The California Museum grant program, funded by the proceeds from the Snoopy Special Interest License Plate sales, will fund capital projects, program projects, or a combination of capital and program projects that assist the California Cultural and Historical Endowment (CCHE) in supporting and enhancing museum services that recognize the importance of making art, science, history and culture available to the residents of California, with an emphasis on underserved communities. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.

Draft guidelines can be downloaded here. Public comments and final recommendations will be considered for adoption by the CCHE Board.  Please visit the CCHE website for board meeting information.
