The California Natural Resources Agency will be accepting proposals for the Museum Grant Program from August 3rd, 2020 to September 18th, 2020 at 5:00 PM via the System for Online Application Review (SOAR). The program, funded by proceeds from the Snoopy Special Interest License Plate sales, seeks projects that assist the California Cultural and Historical Endowment (CCHE) in supporting and enhancing museums services that recognize the importance of making art, science, history and culture available to the residents of California, with an emphasis on underserved communities.
Approximately $700,000 in awards will be funded by this program. Priority funding will be given to museums that have been severely impacted by COVID-19 and that serve underserved communities and/or Title I Students.
Applicants submitting the most competitive proposals will be invited to participate in the next level of the competitive process, estimated to begin Winter 2020.
