The California Natural Resources Agency has updated the timeline for the Environmental Enhancement and Mitigation (EEM) grant program. The EEM program was one of several programs postponed as a result of the impacts of COVID-19 that are now moving forward with new timelines.
The updated timeline includes an anticipated release of the solicitation in January 2021 with announcement of awards in January 2022. Pending budget approval, it is estimated the total funding available will be $13.4M which includes $6.7M each from the 2020 and 2021 appropriation.
Information about technical assistance workshops will be available in early Fall of 2020.
