Restoration Permitting

As part of Healthy Rivers and Landscapes habitat restoration, California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) supports and is committed to early coordination and collaboration in project consultations. CDFW will apply innovative uses of its Lake and Streambed Alteration and California Endangered Species Act authorities to expedite permitting of restoration projects, including the use of the Cutting the Green Tape tools. Together this will allow for better projects to be designed and built in a timely manner.
