Oakland Unified School District unveils it's first green schoolyard in celebration of Earth Day 2021 and has created a green schoolyard policy to ensure it will not be their last. In 2019, CNRA awarded a $1,186,977 Urban Greening Program grant toward this project, funded through California Climate Investments.
