Bicyclist, pedestrians, and strollers all are having an easier time crossing the San Lorenzo River. The existing bridge path was significantly widened and improved as part of the San Lorenzo River Parkway Project - Phase III completed by the City of Santa Cruz. Many dignitaries and members of the community came out for both the ground breaking and later for the ribbon cutting. The project is part of the larger Rail Trail vision for the area.
This project was funded by Proposition 13 – River Parkways Grant Program.
