Solicitation Opens for Delta Levees Special Flood Control Projects Program

The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) is pleased to announce the release of the Delta Levees Special Flood Control Projects Program 2023 Project Solicitation Package for Multi-Benefit Projects (PSP).  The intent of this PSP is to provide funding for public benefit in accordance with Section 12311 of the California Water Code for Multi-Benefit projects in the California Delta and parts of the Suisan Marsh.  Multi-Benefit projects may include levee improvements, habitat enhancement, helping prevent salinity intrusion, protection of freshwater conveyance, protection of state and local and federal infrastructure, and/or protection of deep-water shipping channels.  Following the close of this PSP and review of public submittals, DWR anticipates the selection of projects in Summer 2023.

Delta Levees Special Flood Control Projects Program 2023 Project Solicitation Package for Multi-Benefit Projects

The project solicitation period begins today, February 3, 2023.  Concept proposals are due by 4:00 pm on March 3, 2023. Full applications are due by 4:00 pm on May 5, 2023.  Please submit your concept proposals and full applications via email to the Delta Levees Program at DeltaLeveesProgram@water.ca.gov or mail them to:
