The Department of Water Resources’ Division of Safety of Dams has published a Notice of Determination for the Focused Spillway Assessment Phase 3 Work Plan (Union Valley Dam, Dam No. 1009-3) Project. The proposed work consists of coring through the spillway slab to investigate voids and other anomalies and conducting a video inspection of the spillway underdrains as part of the Upper American River Project (UARP).
