Draft Award Funding Recommendation for the Water Desalination Grant Program Released for Public Comment
The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) released the Draft Award Funding Recommendation for the fourth group of applications received, and reviewed under the Water Desalination Grant Continuous Application Process. These applications are referred to as CAP4.
This funding is made possible by the 2002 Proposition 50, the Water Security, Clean Drinking Water, Coastal and Beach Protection.
The funding recommendation shown in the table below is subject to Public Review for 10 calendar days starting on May 6, 2021, and ending on May 15, 2021.

DWR staff will conduct an online public meeting to present the CAP4 recommendation, accept public comments, and discuss the possible next steps in the Program:

Comments will be accepted during the online-only public meeting. Grant applicants and the general public can also submit written comments on this draft funding recommendation. Following the review of public comments, DWR will publish the Final Award List and notify each recipient.
