MUSEUM GRANT PROGRAM

In 2013, Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 482, which authorized creation of a specified competitive grant program, to support small capital projects in museums including the acquisition of real property, or construction projects at museum facilities or venues.

Museum Grant Program Awards have been made for the 2014-2015 cycle. Proceeds from the new Snoopy Special Interest License Plate (www.snoopyplate.com) are planned to fund the program in future years. For the next round, we anticipate releasing updated guidelines and conducting workshops in the Spring of 2017 with applications likely due in September of 2017. You can click here to sign-up for the Museum Grant Program ListServ and receive updates.
