On June 1, 2019, the water level at Lake Perris was 1585.76 feet with a reservoir storage of 121,745 acre-feet. The artificial lake is the southern terminus of the California State Water Project, located in Riverside County. Photo taken June 1, 2019.

Today, DWR urges people to avoid physical contact with water at Lake Perris’ Moreno Beach in Riverside County until further notice due to the presence of blue-green algae.
