Join DWR’s Water Use Efficiency Branch upcoming webinar on Water Loss and Leak Detection featuring special presentations for Black History Month.
At 1pm, CNRA’s Moises Moreno-Rivera, Assistant Secretary for Equity and Environmental Justice, will speak on diversifying the water industry.
His message will be followed by a presentation by Monique Earl, Senior Assistant General Manager and Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer who will present on Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s Racial Equity Action Plan. Learn about LADWP’s journey to create a more diverse workforce, inclusive culture and equitable experience for employees and customers.
The webinar will conclude with a 30-minute presentation covering the Importance of Water Auditing featuring James Markham, a Research Engineer with the Southwest Environmental Finance Center who focusses on water loss control and asset management issues. Both presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
