Virtual Tribal Drinking Water Workshop for Southern California

The State Water Board and California Department of Water Resources invite the community to attend workshops about the Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience (SAFER) drinking water program and the opportunities available to California Native American Tribes.

The workshops will provide information on the SAFER drinking water program, including the draft Fund Expenditure Plan and funding opportunities available to California Native American Tribes; and discuss the opportunity of including Tribal drinking water in statewide water system need assessments. Participation is open to everyone and is not dependent upon living or working in a particular geographic region. Prior event registration is not required.

The meeting will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and accessible through Zoom or phone.

For more information, contact Amanda Ford at (510) 206-4424 or by email, view the SAFER Drinking Water Workshop Flyer, or visit the SAFER website.
