Water Conservation Legislation of 2018 Urban Overview Meeting

DWR and the State Water Resources Control Board will hold the first quarterly Water Conservation Legislation Urban Overview meeting on Monday, May 20, 2019 . The meeting will discuss the proposed stakeholder engagement process for the 2018 water conservation legislative directives for urban water use efficiency and management.

The quarterly Urban Overview meetings replace the previously-planned Urban Advisory Group (UAG).  All stakeholders, interested parties and members of the public are invited to attend.

The Urban Overview meeting will:

• Address the proposed stakeholder engagement process and work completed to date.
• Present the scope and purpose of eight workgroups, workgroup membership responsibilities, and the workgroup member application/selection process.
• Include an informal discussion and a question-and-answer session about each workgroup.

Non-members can attend the program-specific and project-specific workgroups. Workgroup members have committed to a higher level of participation. DWR will also post an interactive webcast, with opportunity for questions.
