FEMA Elevation Certificate Training, Eureka

DWR and FEMA conduct workshops for floodplain management agencies, including State and local officials. The workshops allow floodplain management officials to have a greater understanding of FEMA's minimum regulation requirements and how to meet them. 

Intended Audience:

Floodplain administrators; engineering, building, planning, and public work staff from communities participating in the National Flood Insurance Program; and local surveyors.

  • Use of EC’s in floodplain development
  • Review of building diagrams
  • Common EC errors 
  • NFIP compliance.
