POSTER SESSION
Certain topics may best be presented in the California and the World Ocean '97 (CWO '97) Poster Session. A special poster session will feature a group of selected presentations, displays, information products and services for ocean and coastal resource users, professionals, and the public. This could include books, maps, atlases, inventories, printed and electronic data bases, photos and video media, posters and art works. Prospective participants should submit proposals to CWO '97, using the abstract format, indicating "Poster Session." Commercial exhibitors and others who wish wider exposure are encouraged to purchase exhibit space as explained under "Commercial Exhibits."
EXPENSES
All expenses for preparing and presenting papers are the responsibility of the authors, including camera-ready materials, travel and lodging, conference registration fees, and any meals not included in the registration fee. All session chairs and attendees are also required to pay conference registration fees and any other costs associated with attending the conference. Scholarships and travel funds are not available.
COMMERCIAL EXHIBITS
A commercial exhibition of ocean and coastal-related products, systems, and services will be held in conjunction with CWO '97. Participation by public agencies, private industry, and not-for-profit organizations is welcome. For more information contact Orville Magoon, Conference Chair at the conference headquarters address.
FILM AND MEDIA FESTIVAL
Film, slides, and related media item proposals should be submitted to CWO '97 headquarters, Attention Sheila Robertson.
SESSION CHAIRS
Any professional who is interested in Chairing or Co-Chairing a session, who has a strong background in one of the listed topics and a good command of the English language, should submit a letter expressing their interest, a curriculum vitae, and the topics of interest to Orville Magoon, Conference Chair, at conference headquarters, Attention Session Chair.
