Santa Barbara Natural History Museum :
Set in historic Mission Canyon, the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History
is one of the most beautiful small museums in the United States by virtue of
its natural setting and gracious Spanish-style architecture. The Museum offers
a close look at the story of the region's birth, geology and paleontology, native
wildlife, rich marine life, and the culture of the Chumash Indians. Features
include a 72-foot Blue Whale skeleton, the region's only public planetarium
and observatory, a creekside setting and a unique Museum Store.

p.m.
- Entrance Fees : $6.00 for adults; $4.00 for
Seniors (60+) and Teens; $3.00 for children.

- Driving Directions : 2559 Puesta del Sol Road,
Santa Barbara, 93105. Exit the hotel going west on E. Cabrillo Boulevard.
Turn right onto Garden Street. Take US-101 N to the Mission Street exit. Drive
to the end of Mission. Turn left and then take a right on Olivos. Drive about
1/2 mile and you will see the signs for the Museum on the left.
