The Resources Agency has completed a December 2002 draft report to the Legislature titled, Preliminary Inventory of Ocean Resource Science Coordination Efforts in California. This report was prepared pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 36980 and is required to evaluate the steps being taken to ensure adequate coordination of ocean resources management science among state, regional, and federal agencies and marine science institutions.

An electronic version of the draft report is available in two downloadable formats (see below). Hard copies may be requested by contacting Brian Baird at 916.657.0198 or Brian@resources.ca.gov. Public comments on this draft report will be accepted through March 7, 2003 and should be submitted electronically to CORSA@resources.ca.gov or by mail to the California Resources Agency, Ocean Resources Management Program, 1416 Ninth Street, Suite 1311, Sacramento, CA 95814.
