Strong Supervisory Skills
  • would help students set developmental goals, create action plans, and schedule time
  • able to give feedback and coaching to reinforce positive behavior
  • willing to assume and demonstrate leadership

Knowledge of Department/Agency
  • knows where training and career opportunities exist
  • familiar with state and department rules, policies and philosophies

Interested in Someone Else's Growth
  • would help a student to risk and accept failure while being supportive
  • would allow student to develop at their own speed
